50 calls for journalism/writing pitches (November 28, 2022)
As the former editor of a magazine called Potato Business World, I do love a good obscure title discussion. I don’t like to waffle on about it, but I did enjoy the crisp writing at that role. At the same time I also edited another mag called Biscuit World. That was a sweet gig. I once asked people for their own obscure titles that appeared on their resumes. Bolted was all about washers. Cage & Aviary Birds Magazine provided one reader with all sorts of knowledge about budgerigars. Log Cabin Living sounds like the kind of mag I could snuggle into. While Parking Lot World and Scrap Metal Heap Quarterly … well, how many dinner conversations could you squeeze out of those beauties? Got your own?
This week’s calls for pitches below, including one from me.
