75+ calls for journalism/writing pitches (February 17, 2025)

I recently reposted into the Travel Writing Skool something I wrote years ago about the tyranny of hotel light switches. I am currently in a hotel, and there is a single light switch for everything. This is fantastic. It is not ideal of course. A kind of all-or-nothing approach to illumination. But infinitely preferable to the usual chaotic mess of flicking, switching and cussing as I attempt to get the right lights on and others off.

Calls for pitches below.
